(2015)  – Interview on KEOS 89.1 FM –

Guest on “Family Affair” with Dr. Doug Vance.  Talked about my work, art in the Brazos Valley, working with teens from Brazos Valley Juvenile Services and how to live a creative life.

 

(2015)  – A.R.T. for Life Mural – Neal Recreation Center,-

Bryan, TX

With funding from the Arts Council of Brazos Valley, we created two large scale paintings (6x20ft and 8x20ft) with teens from Brazos County Juvenile Services.  The paintings were inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, a 20th century pop-artist known for his iconic “comic book” style of painting.

(2014)  – A.R.T. for Life Mural – Council of Governments,

Bryan TX

– With funding from the Arts Council of Brazos Valley, we created a large scale painting (9x18ft) with teens from Brazos County Juvenile Services.  The painting was done in an impressionistic (impasto) style using acrylic paint and was comprised of more than 100,000 individual fingerprints! The painting was feature in the Eagle Newspaper (11/11/14)

(2011) – “Trash Art” reported on the Front Page of the Eagle

Newspaper

The BCS Art Camp Students created a large mural using only items found in the trash (bottle caps, cardboard, copper wire).  This mural was displayed at the Larry Ringer Library in College Station, Texas   ( www.bcsartcamp.com/?p=208 )

(2011) – 3D sidewalk art reported on the Front Page of The
